Delicious Protein Pancakes

If you have a sweet tooth craving and you don't want to feel guilty for settling it.. Then this recipe is for you, all you need is a NutriBullet (any blender will do)

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • Half a cup of rolled oats
  • 1 large banana
  • 1 scoop of protein powder
  • Between 10-40ml of water (Judge the amount of water based on the size of your banana, eg. If your banana is on the smaller size than use a smaller amount of water) Keeping this in mind allows you to have the right consistency for your "pancake" mix. Hot tip: Add a small amount of water first because you can go back and add some more later

Optional (If you feel like treating yourself)

  • Sugar free chocolate chips (put them in as soon as you pour the batter)
  • Toasted coconut flakes
  • Sugar free maple syrup
  • Low calorie ice cream of your choice
  • Any fruit to top it off (Our go-to are some fresh berries)

Instructions

  1. Blend all the ingredients together 
  2. Heat up the pan then set it to low, spray the pan with some coconut oil spray (any oil will do)
  3. Pour your mix onto it (If you want to add some sugar free chocolate chips in there, nows your chance)
  4. I allow about 45 seconds - 1 min on each side - sometimes even less, this will depend on your stove.
